Happy 2019! Today I wanted to share 4 ways to wear a camel turtleneck.
After blogmas (which I did okay with…) I took a little break from blogging and making content. I was really excited to get back to taking outfit photos and writing posts but then this past week, I got hit with a nasty cold! Ugh! I am still feeling a bit under the weather so I thought I’d do a little remix of one of my favorite clothing pieces for winter – a turtleneck!
The sad thing about this remix is I actually donated this shirt this year. I got it secondhand (new with tags!) but it was originally from Old Navy. I’ve worn it so much in the past three years that it was bobbled and pilled everywhere. I was so sad to let it go but it was for the best as it was definitely showing it’s wear, as I’ve discovered most Old Navy clothes don’t hold up as long as I would like them to.
The first two outfits might be my favorite way I wore this top. I don’t get to wear my wool plaid skirt very often (it is extremely warm) but it’s always a good day when I do! It’s vintage and such a unique and fun pattern. This was also one of our few snow days last year, which was so fun but so cold! I had to wear my hiking boots to get these shots because it was so slippery.
The second outfit is one of my all-time favorite blog looks to date! I’ve mentioned it before but I never wear red lipstick unless it’s for the blog. But this look still might convince me otherwise! I love how chic and ~Parisian~ I felt in this outfit. Sadly, I don’t own those pants anymore either as I wore them out too (they had an elastic waistband and got way too stretched out!).
The next look was one I featured last spring. I knew I wanted to wear my beautiful pleated midi skirt but it was still a bit chilly. So I threw on my trusty turtleneck and bam! It’s perfect for a chilly spring day.
Which outfit is your favorite?
