Today I’m doing a little remix on the blog! I’ve got three ways to wear an Orange mock neck sweater.
I’ve had this orange sweater for a long time. There was a massive consignment store near my college. Their regular priced inventory was way out of my price range but they had a clearance room that was just as big! Oftentimes they had clearance inventory marked 90% off!! It was amazing. I picked up this sweater my senior year of college (so around 4 years ago!!) for probably a few bucks. I didn’t wear it a ton when I first picked it up but turns out, it’s been a staple in my wardrobe as my style has evolved since then.
It’s always fun to look back at these remixes to see what pieces of clothing I still have. I don’t have that leather jacket anymore as I decided it is just a little bit too big! But I still love pairing this orange sweater over my velvet jumper dress. This look was definitely Halloween inspired!
I actually still have everything featured in the first outfit! The polka dot skirt was also a secondhand purchase in college so it’s lasted me a long time! I don’t wear my converse nearly as much as I used to but maybe I should pull them out again soon. I forget how perfectly they go with anything! Jeans, dresses, skirts – it all works with a simple pair of converse. Even though I don’t wear my converse as often, I still keep them around. They’ve traveled the world with me as silly as it sounds.
Last year during blogmas I finally shot an outfit I’ve worn countless times before to work! Every time I’ve worn it, I’ve wanted to photograph it for the blog but it never worked out. I love the pop of color with the sweater against my favorite paisley pants from Topshop. I don’t have those shiny shoes anymore from Payless as they were just so uncomfortable but I have a pair similar now that I like a lot more. These paisley pants will probably be in my wardrobe as long as they fit me and don’t fall apart! They are one of the only purchases I’ve made from Topshop and I love them. They are a really nice material, warm, and pretty flattering!
Which look was your favorite? Let me know in the comments!
