Every time I’ve moved since I started this blog there has always been a bit of a challenge finding new places to shoot my photos. I take all of my own photos with my tripod so as much as I would love to just go shoot on the sidewalk, most of the time I am too shy/embarrassed. But I actually live fairly close to a park! So I’ve been walking there to shoot some photos. The other day I discovered this little path, which is the perfect secluded spot! I am excited to go to this park early in the morning and find some spots with that beautiful morning light! (I’m also excited for this path to not be so infested with bugs! Ugh I get eaten alive every time)
As you can probably tell from my last couple of photo sets, it’s been so dreary here! And still a bit warm. I thought about bringing a sweater when I shot these photos but I definitely didn’t need it.
As for the outfit, this skirt is something I have featured many times here before. But it’s my favorite skirt! It was my Mom’s when she was my age, which makes it even more special. It’s also subtle enough to do some pattern mixing with this adorable floral top.
I’ve actually had my top for a while but never got around to featuring it on the blog. I participated in the Modcloth Stylist Surprise a long time ago and this is the top I was sent! It’s nothing spectacular but I do get quite a bit of wear out of it. I’ve been hesitant to feature it since the whole “modcloth sold out to wal-mart” debacle a year or so ago. But I do really like this top.
