The Dress I’ll be Wearing All of Autumn

Today I’m featuring another $1 thrifted find! Like I mentioned in my last thrift haul, I’ve gotten a lot better at spotting Anthropologie brands. It’s always exciting for me to find them because that store is my ~dream asthetic~ but I really have no desire to spend $100 on a shirt! Normally, if I haven’t heard of the brand and they have an interesting tag I’ll look it up quickly on my phone and a lot of the times it is Anthro. This dress was one of those finds!

It’s from the brand Deletta from Anthropologie. I haven’t found the resale value to be very good but if I find a piece that I like myself I will definitely pick it up! I found this dress last spring and I know I’ll be wearing it all the time during Autumn! Working from home has made me value comfort so much in my wardrobe these days. This dress ticks all of the boxes when it comes to my dream dress – 1. comfort 2. semi-stylish (without feeling overdressed!) and 3. keeps me warm!

The thing I love about this dress is the fact that it looks way fancier than it is. The chiffon skirt part makes it more appropriate for work but it’s also just the perfect piece to throw on and go! I will probably wear it traveling when I head to NYC this weekend (!!!) because it’ll keep me warm but I won’t look too sloppy.

I know in the past couple of months I’ve talked a lot about impulse purchases from the thrift store. But I think I’ve realized recently how many of them I’ve made over the past couple of years! Some of them I really regret (goodbye yellow button down that was wayyyyy too big for me) and some of them I truly love and know I will wear forever.

Even though I picked this dress up at the thrift store I’ve seen a lot of sweatshirt dresses in stores lately so I am pretty sure you’ll be able to find something similar if you take a peak around!
