My Favorite Vintage Skirt

We only get snow about once a year but it sure is magical when we do! I didn’t explore too much in the snow this time as it was a -4 windchill! But I did step outside for a bit to take some blog photos. What you can’t see is that I’m wearing about 3 layers underneath! Haha.

This skirt is something I have wanted to feature on this blog for a year now and just never had the chance/forgot to photograph it. But I finally did! I picked it up in Laramie, Wyoming in October 2016 when I was visiting a friend of mine. There is an incredible thrift store there “NU 2 U” that I always love visiting.

I found this skirt in the vintage section. It’s wool so it is extremely warm and I like the vintage style of it. I don’t wear it too often here because I do find it too warm sometimes but for these cold days we’ve been having, it’s been perfect!

I also chose a very sensible shoe choice for this wintery day! It was in the single digits temperature wise and there was tons of ice. So, a sensible option it was! These are actually hiking boots that I picked up from REI (greatest store ever!). But I had no trouble traipsing around in the snow with these on.
