Blogging Slump

It only seems fitting to wear a children’s dress for this post considering I wrote a post about it on Wednesday on my friend Devinne’s blog Mox and Socks!

But to be honest, I’ve been in a bit of a blogging slump as of late (you can probably tell). My posts are coming out later in the morning and have become less frequent, which KILLS me. I loved that I could keep up with my 3x/week schedule.

I can blame a lot of it on the weather because quite frankly, it is just too miserable to go outside! I have so many ideas for photos and outfits and I just can’t execute them without feeling like I took a shower in sweat (ew). I just don’t feel like I’m producing the content I want to create because I can’t get to the scenic places I wanted to photograph or its just too hot to be outside for very long.

I actually haven’t been thrifting that much either for my online store (HERE)  or for myself but I’m hoping to get to Savers this weekend for their 50% off sale. But my plan is to get back into blogging and thrifting this weekend. It’s definitely something I’ve been slacking on, which bums me out. I want to create great content, daily if i could, but with work and my commute it can make it a little more difficult. I want this blog to be my full time job someday and I can’t do that by slacking off or producing content I’m not happy with.

So this weekend I’m going to get back into the swing of things, get ahead in producing posts, hit up some thrift stores, relax, and work on content I’m truly happy with again.
