Fall in May

This is definitely a fall outfit but last week felt like fall so there you go. It’s been seriously chilly here the past week but I’m pretty okay with that. I am not ready for the 100+ degree weather we’re going to have eventually. Despite being raised in the south, I am just not one for extremely hot weather. I much preferred the subdued summer that I experienced in Dublin (my UK readers will be in shock, I know). But really, the humidity and the actual temperatures here is pretty uncomfortable. I’ll taken cooler days for less sunshine any day! Although, when I lived in Dublin apparently it was one of the sunniest summers they’d had so I was pretty pleased!

As for my outfit, these are all pretty old pieces – some old favorites that’s for sure. The only new-ish item is my white turtleneck. I thrifted it a month or two ago. I knew it’d be warming up but I’ve been looking for a white turtleneck for so long! So, I couldn’t pass one up that actually fits me.

I had the same necklace on in my last post but it’s really the only statement necklace I like. I picked it up at a flea market a few years ago. I pretty much wear it every day if I can. But that’s how I feel about all of these pieces, let’s be real. It’s just an outfit I feel comfortable in.

Hat: Gift (similar)
Shirt: Thrifted (similar)
Skirt: H&M (similar)
Necklace: Flea Market
Shoes: Sam Edelman

Is it starting to warm up where you are?
