Pants: Old Navy (similar)
Shirt: Hen Laying Egg
I don’t wear t-shirts that often. Now that I have a job where I have to wear ‘business casual’ I find myself leaning away from t-shirts and more into clothes that are appropriate for work (which is most things – just not t-shirts and jeans!). Plus, t-shirts are normally way too long on me and I just can’t find ones that fit. I also tend to forget about them as I have them in a drawer and not hanging in my closet…. Oops. Does anyone else do this?
But this t-shirt is the exception. Last year, I had the opportunity to go to a photography conference with my University in New Orleans! It was amazing. But one of the best parts was they had this ‘expo’ with tons of different booths with people selling cameras, t-shirts, graduate school reps were there… so basically a photographers dream! One of the booths there was selling these quirky t-shirts. I immediately bought this shirt because seriously, how could I not? It’s witty and pretty much describes my life. I also love the red trim on the neck and sleeves.
I never looked up the brand on the back of the shirt before this post but turns out they have a website where you can buy these shirts and so many other awesome prints. I want them ALL. They make t-shirts and tote bags and it is really hard to restrain myself from not getting every single one. So, if I were you – I’d definitely go check out Hen Laying Egg as they are definitely one of the coolest print shops I’ve come across. *I’m not getting paid to say this – I just really love this shirt ok*
What do you think of quirky t-shirts? Also – do you have any fun weekend plans?
