Remix // The Denim Jacket

As someone who posts new outfits almost 3 times a week I’m bound to have some repeating items, which is one thing I love about blogging. I love being able to take one item and transform it by pairing it with different things. Today I’m going to show you 4 ways I’ve styled this denim jacket from Old Navy. But denim jackets are something that are readily available at thrift stores/charity shops so I’d definitely give your local ones a wander if you’re looking for this classic piece!

This denim jacket has literally been all over the world with me. I picked it up a few years ago and I seem to take it on every trip since then. It’s perfect for layering and it’s got pockets on the inside!

This was one of the first posts I made with my new 35mm lens and it’s definitely still one of my favorites. This post (HERE) was back in September. I had hardly started blogging by then but this was around the time I started getting really into it.  I also remember this being one of the first cooler days in September, which was a nice reprise from the summer we’d been having.

Another post from this past fall and this, I can hands down say, was one of the most fun to shoot. Original post HERE

This was a look I wore countless times this fall/winter and I am shocked by how much wear I’ve gotten out of this short sleeved turtleneck. Plus, denim always looks good with stripes.

a much more recent look was when I paired the jacket with this faux suede dress. I just can’t get over how well denim pairs with brown-earthy tones. Maybe a little bit geared to fall but definitely something I wear time and time again. Original post: HERE

My most recent look with the denim jacket was when I played with a bunch of different textures. I think you can still get away with velvet in the Spring if paired in the right way and with a nice denim jacket, it works perfectly. Original post: HERE
