I don’t know what’s going on with my style the past few weeks but you can’t get an outfit much different than my last post. This one is feminine, colorful, and a bit out of my comfort zone. But I did say I was going to get more out of my comfort zone this year so this is what happens!
I’m not normally one to wear pencil skirts but I picked this one up while I was in Ireland last summer for work. I haven’t worn it in ages and decided it needed some attention. It’s originally from Topshop so it’s a very nice material. I paired it with my light pink top from Primark, which I also picked up in Ireland. I would normally wear the pink shirt and teal skirt combo to work during the summer but I wanted to see if I could come up with someway to wear that combination during the winter months.
I decided to go with an older sweater from H&M. It’s a really beautiful mix of blues and pinks so I thought it went perfectly with the skirt and pink shirt combo. Sadly, I picked it up a few years ago so it’s not available now but I have seen quite a few sweaters that look similar in some high street shops recently.
I also went for my classic black loafers just for something a little bit unexpected. I do have a pair of teal flats but for some reason I was really feeling these instead.
