It’s been a crazy month. I got back from Europe on the 22nd and haven’t really had a moment to breathe until this week. Don’t get me wrong, I love Christmas and everything that comes with it but a good lounge day is in order.
I thought I’d take this time to reflect on the past year and maybe share some goals for the upcoming one. This year has definitely been one of the most challenging but wonderful years of my life. I know a lot of people probably say that but this year has definitely had it’s ups and downs.
I normally don’t think of January as the ‘new year’ because I used to think of them as school years but now that I’m not in school – I’m at a loss. This is the true New Year. But since I’m moving in two weeks, I think this is really a good time to think about starting over, starting fresh. I’ve been stuck in a rut for the past six months and it hasn’t been a great feeling. I moved back to my hometown after graduation and it hasn’t been working. This city isn’t built for someone who doesn’t drive. So, I’m moving somewhere with a better (and much cheaper) bus system, friends, and hopefully a better job.
I’m excited to keep posting on this blog and hopefully have it keep growing. I want to keep this mostly a fashion blog but there will be lots of travel posts coming soon! And I want to keep exploring the beauty realm of blogging. Thank you for those who have joined me on this journey so far and I can’t wait to see where it takes me. I cannot say how much I appreciate each and every reader.
I also realized (while editing these photos) I’ve never shown a detailed photo of my glasses! It’s strange to think of them as a fashion accessory because I wear them all the time except when I’m sleeping or showering. But I suppose they are. But they are such a big part of my life so I figure I need to show them!
They’re actually children’s frames because I have such a tiny face. I am actually up for a new pair in January so I am really, really pumped for that! I don’t get new glasses too often because my prescription is crazy expensive so getting a new pair is rare and very exciting.
