Outfit: Forgotten Items

Sometimes I forget about items in my closet. I’ve either had them for so long that I wore them to death or I just never found them to be my style anyways. This can happen a good bit if you’re a thrifter like me. It’s hard not to pick up pieces you think you’ll wear when they are only a dollar but never end up wearing them. While the items in this outfit weren’t thrifted, they were forgotten about. 

 I’ve had this skirt for quite a while. I think I got it my freshman year of college from H&M. I always forget how much I love it until I put it on. Heart prints always seem a little cheesy to me – probably because I’m not the most romantic person in the world. But I’ve realized I own a few items of clothing with the print! I also really love the tie at the waist on this skirt. 

I paired it with a plain v-neck top from American Eagle as well as my faux suede looking jacket from Urban Outfitters. This jacket is pretty perfect because it’s got a faux-sherling inside, which makes it super warm! This is another piece of clothing I seem to forget about but it’s actually really warm and cute!

I also went for my tall black boots from Target. I have a feeling these will definitely be a staple for autumn/winter – so warm! I’m not finding them the most comfortable but they are super warm so I’ll take what I can get.
