Red, red, red

One of the main things I look for when I get dressed is how comfortable I am. This look is definitely one of my most comfortable looks while still looking put together.

This sweater is definitely a favorite of mine. I’m pretty partial to pullovers when it comes to sweaters/jumpers and this one is no exception. It’s actually a little boy’s sweater from the thrift store! I own quite a few boys clothing items and I find they work really well for me. I have such a short torso and women’s sweaters are just too damn long on me! This one fits perfectly.

I decided to pair my orange-red coffee cup shirt from the thrift store under it. It’s a bit oversized so I love how it shows a bit on the bottom. This shirt is crazy bright so I always feel a bit ridiculous wearing it by itself but under a sweater – it is perfectly subtle for my taste. I also feel like the print is just so unique! I do have quite the mug collection so it’s pretty much the perfect shirt for me.

I also went for some khaki skinnies from Kohls. I bought them a size too big so they’d be a bit looser on me and I have to say – I love the fit! I think it adds a bit of boyish charm to the outfit. I also like to cuff them at the bottom.  I also wore a red lip because – why not?

Keeping it casual – I went for my dusty, dingy converse. They used to be the same color of my sweater but they have gotten pretty dirty considering I’ve had them for five years and they have gone all over the world with me!
